Word Aware Day
Our children and staff thoroughly enjoyed celebrating vocabulary and learning lots of new words. It was fantastic to see the children teaching each other the definitions. We look forward to seeing the children using the words they have learnt in their speaking, reading and in their writing. We had lots of fun in our assembly sharing our words. Our children have been introduced to over 200 words in one day! The children enjoyed sharing their costumes and were very creative in acting out their words. Children can tell you about the vocabulary that they learnt. The more they use the words, the more they will remember them!
