This term, pupils from Year 4 have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument. On one afternoon a week, children will be receiving lessons on either the violin, cello or double bass. This musical tuition is provided by the LA as one of the Tri-borough Music Hub’s whole class instrumental programmes.

Year 4 are really enjoying their string instrument sessions, which include warm-ups, rhythm and instrumental exercises with cool and accessible pieces. These lessons help the children to demonstrate their musical understanding and learning through performance.
