On Monday the whole school had a visit from Olympic athlete Luke Lennon-Ford. He told us about how he became an athlete and how he stays healthy and ready to race. Luke told us about all the healthy foods he has to eat to give him energy for sport – he says half his plate at dinner is vegetables!
After the assembly we all did some circuits in the hall, doing some exercises Luke does in his training. We had to run on the spot, do press-ups, star jumps and leg drives. It was so tiring!
