Extended Curriculum

At St. Luke’s school, we believe all children should have a range of opportunities that they can take part in. Wherever possible we provide these activities, free, the children of the school. Below are some of the exiting enrichment opportunities we have available at our school.



We offer a range of clubs such as:

Breakfast Club – children can come to the school early, have a healthy breakfast as well as taking part in some fun, educational activities

Cooking Club – The children get a chance to cook with some of our experienced in house cooks!
Dance Club – An external dance tutor comes in weekly to pass on some of his Street Dance skills
Handwriting Club – A chance for required children to develop their Handwriting
Phonics Club – An oppurtunity for younger children to practice their phonics
Debating Club – Children get to debate about current topics and relevant issues
X Factor Club – The children get a chance to show off their Star Qualites and perform to one another
Music Masters Club – A session of musical development with the music teacher

Justina Mutale

Ms Mutale visited us as part of our Inspirational Women’s Month. The children were really inspired by her journey and the career that she’d made for herself as a prominent advocate of Women’s Rights.


Rene Byrd

Rene enchanted us with her amazing singing ability. She told us how she honed her skills as a child and developed it into an amazing, successful singing career.


Sue Hampton

World renowned Author Sue Hampton visited us as part of our Book Week celebrations, giving us hints and tips on how to become a better writer.




We learn a variety of different instruments in our school. Children at St Luke’s learn to play the Violin,Steel Pans and Guitar. All children are able to take part in these activities for free.



Book week
