Forensic Science Workshop

This afternoon, Team 6 learnt all about forensic science from the Metropolitan Police:  they learnt about how fingerprints, fibres, DNA and footprints can be collected and stored – without contamination – so that they can be later used as evidence in a police investigation into a specific crime – or indeed series of crimes.

Team 6 took part in a series of practical activities, learning forensic science procedures the police use to collect evidence to prove that a crime has been committed and also the procedures to prove how a crime has been committed.
