We have been studying the properties of solids and liquids and how they can be separated. Children worked in groups to find the most efficient way of separating a mixture of solids and liquids using different instruments. They tested their method and evaluated their predictions. Here are some of pictures of the investigation.
As part of our Literacy and History units (The Victorians), children read some stories of Sherlock Holmes. Children had lots of fun investigating some of the clues that Sir Conan Doyle gives in his stories to help the reader solve some of the mysteries! We also visited the Sherlock Holmes Museum on Baker Street.
Here are some of the topics that Year 4 have been learning recently in History. Enjoy the displays and the children's work.
